Zaycon Chicken Order - due Saturday!

Hey Ladies,
Zaycon started taking orders tonight for their Austin delivery of chicken. It's actually being delivered close to us in Cedar Park, at the church off 1431, right before the Target. Orders are being taken until this Saturday, or sooner if they sell out.
We just ordered 3 cases, and will vaccum pack it for the freezer. If you'd like, you can buy the vaccum bag rolls and borrow our sealer if you don't have one. I've also found the Ziploc freezer bags to work well. I'll probably do a little of both.
I'm so excited Stacey told us about this! THANK YOU STACEY!!!!!! Spread the word so they'll want to come back in the future.
Have a fabulous day!-- Trisha

Come on All You Runners and Walkers Out There...

There is a 5 year old girl in our stake, Jaylie Nielson, who was recently diagnosed with brain cancer. To help with medical expenses some sweet people have organized a 5K and Fun Run to help raise funds to help her family cover the costs of those medical expenses.

The Team Jaylie 5K and Fun Run will be August 13th at 7:30 a.m. at the Williamson Regional Park at 1431 and Sam Bass Rd. ( literally around the corner). Anyone can participate regardless of running or walking ability! But, for those serious runners out there, and you are out there, this event is course certified and chip timed! The Fun Run is 1 mile and perfect for the kids that would also like to get out there and participate!

Registration is $30 for the 5K, and $15 for the Fun Run. If you register by August 5th you will also receive a T-shirt.

In addition to the 5K and Fun Run there will be a performance by American Idol Finalist Haeley Vaughan, the Home Depot Kids Workshop, Spike the Round Rock Express Mascot, and the Chick-fil-A Cow! There will also be carnival games, face painting, a DJ, and several free family friendly activities to keep you busy!

Having participated in many 5Ks myself, these really are quite fun and welcoming!

If you are interested in more information about the 5K, Jaylie's Story, or you would like to register for the 5K please visit http://www.teamjaylie.org/. If you are interested in the 5K registration follow the "5K" link to register!

Thanks!

Back to Basics Night!!!!

Hi All!

Just a little reminder that this Thursday, April 14th at 7:00 p.m. in the Relief Society Room, we are having our Back to Basics Food Storage Night.

We are hoping that this evening will be informative, motivating, and fun.

We are also hoping that you leave with at least a weeks worth of dinners planned out for your 3 month supply of food, AND that you leave with a knowledge that you can do it. It won't hurt that you will leave with handy dandy worksheets too!

So come on out. We are really looking forward to it!

Wanna Be "Enriched"?

Hello Sisters!

A reminder that this Thursday is our Silent Service Auction.

We will be meeting in the Relief Society Room at 7pm.

Friends are always welcome!

A Nursery will be provided.

We are so blessed to be apart of an organization that focuses on service. Bring an appetite for a dip bar -- yummy.

Please remember, if your donation/service can be brought that evening, please do so. This helps us avoid a lack of "cashing in".

I know a few of you have conflicts that evening, if you need to send your item with someone that would be appreciated; anyone on the RS committee is happy to bring it for you.

Here is a small sampling of services and items available to bid on that evening:

cookies
southern chicken dinner
banana bread muffins
FHE basket
overnight baby-sitting
teeth whitening
freezer meals
a Saturday at a lakehouse
Italian dinner
quilt/blanket
jewelry
homemade jam and bread
piano lessons
organizing and/or decorating house
massage$1000 (not really, just seeing if you're still reading)
front door planter
math tutoring...and there's so much more!
Hope to see you there!

The following information is for those of you that are interested in those projects.

Option #1
Valentine Subway Art

For this option you are paying for the print only. If you are interested please contact Michelle High at kirkandmichellehigh@hotmail.com and let her know the color choice and size that you would like to order. She will be collecting your money the night of craft night.

Here are the options:

If you want more information about this craft you can also click this link here.

Option #2
A Valentines Day Heart Wreath

Below you will find the list of materials you will need to complete this craft, as well as some prep work that you can do to ensure that you complete this craft at craft night.

To make this wreath you will need to purchase:

1 large heart shaped Styrofoam wreath

1 1/2 yards of felt* ( or a total of 1 1/2 yards of varying colors, check here for more color examples)
* if you go with a smaller wreath you will only need about 3/4yd of fabric

1 pkg. of straight pins

If you are wanting to complete this project at craft night it is advised that you pre-cut as many 3 inch circles as you can from your fabric. You can use a dinner glass to make a template.

We look forward to seeing you at Craft Night!!!
