Quilter's GroupIn April the Quilters Group will be getting together to make this cool quilted bag! Space is limited so registration is required, please email Marlaine Tobin at marlainetobin@netscape.net.
There is no charge for this class, but you do need to bring your own fabric!
Here are the fabric requirements for this class. (a charm pack from a store or scraps work really well for this project) Cotton fabric will work best!
- Cut (108) 2 1/4"squares ( for the front and the back of the bag)
- Cut ( 10) 4 1/4" squares (for the handles)
- 1/2 yard of fabric for the lining and binding
- Cut (12) 3 1/4" squares ( these are optional: they are for the prairie points)
- I'll provide the batting, I have plenty
It would be best if cut your fabric beforehand. If you cut it beforehand, you will probably finish as we are planning on a late night!
