Regal Cinemas Free Family Film Festival

At our Relief Society Meeting last Thursday, the RS passed out ideas of things to do this summer. One of the things that I was going to send in, but didn't was the Regal Cinemas Free Family Film Festival. It starts next week and runs until August 5th.

Here are the details:

The closest Regal Cinema to us doing this promotion is the one at Lakeline Mall.

"Selected G or PG movies start at 10:00am every Tuesday and Wednesday during the festival. Tickets and seating are first-come, first-served and are limited to theatre capacity.

The Free Family Film Festival is safe, lots of fun and a great way for kids to spend a weekday morning in the summer. Tickets for our 2010 Free Family Film Festival are exclusively available at select theatres’ box office on the day of the show."

They do serve concessions but I have seen many families bring in their own snacks. However, I wouldn't walk in with a cooler or anything. :)

Here is the schedule for this summer at Lakeline Regal Cinemas!

Running Group Starting Monday!

So here is the dice ladies!

Running Group is starting on MONDAY, June 21st.

We will be meeting at 6:00 a.m. at the WALSH RANCH MIDDLE SCHOOL!!!

We will only be "training" for 25-30 minutes 5 days a week!

If you have never run, or can't run, this is PERFECT for you! In 10 weeks you/we will be running a 5k (3.2 miles)! If you are heading out of town, you can train while you are away. So don't feel like if you are leaving for out of town you can't come. You can!

If you already run, and can run 3.2 miles, please come!

Please wear cool, comfortable clothes to run in, comfortable shoes and socks, and bring some water.

Hope to see you there!

Running Group!?!

I am putting out the "feelers" to see if there is any interest in starting a running group.

I am thinking that we could meet at the Williamson County Park around 6:00 a.m,5 days a week for 30-35 minutes.

We would be doing a 10 week training program that takes you from not running at all to running a 5k (3.2 miles).

I am thinking that we could conclude our running group by running in a 5k all together.

Again, you would NOT need to have any running experience. If you can run for 1 minute or walk briskly for 30 minutes you can do this running group!

I am trying to see how many of you may be interested, so please comment on this post or send me a email at rpostler@yahoo.com if you are interested.

Can't wait to hear from you!
